Scott, reading this article put a smile on my face. You’ve got your dream job. You get to explore, research, and dive into all the idiocyncracies of Las Vegas casinos, the gaming industry, restaurants, etc and make a living doing it. The fact your research for this article, I hope, is a tax write off is awesome. How much better can life get? Ok – I guess winning and a hot girlfriend can make it better, but still.

You are akin to that kid in the school library always looking up Disney stuff (back in the day when Disney actually use to make quality content and provide experiences second to none), and knew a bunch of stuff about it. When you are asked what you want to do when/if you “grow up” you said Disney Researcher. The “adults” told you that was not a “real” job and to get “realistic”. You turned the dream job into your job.
