There’s quite a bit going on at Harrah’s Las Vegas, including the recent debut of a new casino bar and a new food court, the Fulton Street Food Hall.

There’s a construction wall where Ming’s Table restaurant and The Cafe at Harrah’s used to be. We miss Italian Night at the cafe, but it’s time for some Las Vegas newness.

In Las Vegas, construction walls represent infinite possibility. They’re also an invitation. We hate turning down invitations.

The new Fulton Street Food Hall is set to debut September 15, 2014.

Harrah’s Las Vegas, of course, has a New Orleans theme, so this new food court (sorry, “hall”) has been named after an entertainment district in “The Big Easy.”

As evidenced by our security breach, below, there’s still a lot of work to be done at Fulton Street Food Hall. Then again, Las Vegas hotels seem to make magic happen when it comes to opening restaurants, so we don’t doubt they’ll hit their target date.

Thanks for not reporting us to The Man, construction dudes.

The construction wall around the new food court provides some interesting renderings of what’s to come. First and foremost, there will be a new bar! It will be open 24 hours a day.

They could very well have called it the Fulton Street Hooch Hall.

In addition to the bar, the new food court will offer a sushi and noodle bar, pizza, comfort foods, sandwiches, soups, salads, frozen yogurt and coffee and bakery (open 24 hours).

How we just gained four pounds from renderings of baked goods, we’ll never know.

From what we can see, the new Fulton Street Food Hall will have a lot of the same elements of a Las Vegas buffet, which begs the question: Does Harrah’s need both the Fulton Street Food Hall and its long-in-the-tooth Flavors buffet?

"Harrah's
“Emporium” comes from the Greek, “emporos,” or “merchant,” and is also related to “peirein,” meaning “to pass through.” So, we take it there will also be Mexican food.

Here are more renderings of the Fulton Street Food Hall so we can move on to the new casino bar at Harrah’s, already.
