What name are they going to choose that will knock my socks off or grab my attention? Wild Cherries Casino? The C? The S?
I first visited Vegas in ’97, when the Continental was still a thing, and I didn’t know it existed, because I thought the strip was the most important thing in Vegas. I’m sure there are old timers who remember it fondly, and still live in SoCal, and might still visit Vegas all these years later. No matter what they call it, it’s not going to draw a groundswell of visitors for the property’s past glory, or future promises. The only way the former Terrible’s casino is going to really excite anyone is if they change the name to Hard Rock Hotel and Casino, but I hear that’s taken.
]]>They also don’t let you play your free play on many if the machines depsite earning that free play on those machines.
]]>Might have missed it: “Fun fact: Before it was Terrible’s, the hotel was called the Continental (it opened in 1981). Naming things is hard.”
