Burrata in Italy is the top notch mozzarella,the true cream of the crop mozzarella. It’s more expensive and tastes like heaven. I never buy it because it’s impossible not to finish it all no matter how big that is. The problem is here in Italy if one restaurant tries to serve rigatoni with whipped burrata our grandmas would probably pull out a shotgun and kill the chef on the spot.

Probably the most useful Vegas hack I learned from Scott shortly after I moved here…

You can get seated at almost any Vegas restaurant without a reservation if you’re solo, dress nice, and you politely ask to sit at the bar. I’m always by myself because I’m a single crusty old man whose beverage tab is several times his food tab. So, the fit is great.

It didn’t work this past year because Covid closed most of the bar seating. But the hack is back, now.
