]]>Cranky (or worse) seems to be the de facto state of mind for people on the internet, George. It’s almost like people enjoy feeling aggrieved over things that have zero impart on their own lives.
Frankly, I don’t get why anyone would get upset over something like this project. As you note, the Las Vegas Convention Center is massive. And, it is responsible for a staggering amount of tourism dollars to the area. Spending some money to make it more efficient seems like a wise move.
Plus, I think Jon Hansen is correct. This project is likely to be seen as a proof-of-concept on Musk’s new transportation “invention”.

]]>why’s everyone so cranky? it’s a massive convention center and will speed transportation throughout the facility while lessening crowding in corridors… I’m sure if successful they could extend it to adjacent hotels or tie it into the LV monorail system at an existing station…
