The new kid on the block, Spree is a social and sweepstakes casino that launched in early 2024. The casino is without a doubt a slots haven. The site offers over 800 games with most of the titles being popular or newly released online slots.
However, like any new online casino, you might be wondering if Spree is worth your time and how it competes with the big social casinos already out there. The casino has exactly 856 games on offer with the vast majority being online slots games. Plus, the games are provided by a range of 16 software developers including Relax, Playson, and Pragmatic Play. This is a nice collection of game creators, even top casinos like Chumba only offer games from 12 developers or so. I was impressed to see that Spree collaborates with a range of game makers. There are more creative studios in the mix too like Fantasma and Swintt who are known for creating high quality, but slightly more independent games.

Slots make up 99% of the games at Spree. You’ll find jackpot games, classic three-reel options, hold and win titles, video slots, and much more on offer. In particular, I liked that the casino has a top 10 list for anyone new to online gaming. These change regularly, but you can expect popular titles like Fire Stampede, Sugar Rush 1000, Buffalo King Megaways, and more.
There are a total of 16 jackpot slots to play, which is slightly less than other social casinos like Hello Millions or WOW Vegas. That said, the games on offer are high quality and largely provided by Pragmatic. In comparison, Spree offers just three casino games: Gravity Blackjack, Live Roulette, and Live Baccarat. This is by no means a large selection of games, but it’s more than most social casinos. Even big-named casinos like Hello Millions offer just five table games, which is only a fraction more than Spree.
Though the table games on offer are nice to play and are created by the iconic Better Live group, it’s hard to be impressed by such a small offering. Granted Spree is a newer casino, so I’m sure the library will grow over the next 12 months. However, for a higher score, I’d need to see a more vast collection of table games with more niche, interesting variants.

The current welcome offer at Spree offers 1,000,000 GC and 2.5 SC. This is a highly competitive casino welcome bonus. Most social casinos will offer around half of the amount of Gold Coins, and some offer even less. Take High 5, who currently offer just 250,000 GC in their welcome package.
That said, the more well-known brands tend to offer slightly more in terms of Sweeps Coins. Spree doesn’t offer quite the same value in comparison to casinos like WOW Vegas or Pulsz. For a higher score here, I’d like to see between 15-30 SC for all new players.

- Refer-a-friend: A quick and easy way to earn coins, you can share a ‘refer-a-friend’ link for 2.5 Spree Coins for each friend that registers. The best part? You can do this with up to 10 friends.
- Mail in: Slightly more old school, there’s also the option to mail a hand-written request card to Spree to receive 4 SC.
My only criticism is that Spree doesn’t seem to offer a VIP or additional loyalty scheme just yet. This isn’t an issue, but it means that loyal players aren’t rewarded beyond the daily login bonus.
Casino app & mobile play
Spree does not currently have a working casino app. However, the site is built using HTML5 technology which means it can be played in a mobile browser. I tested this and the casino is fully functioning on all popular web browsers like Safari and Chrome. Despite not having an app, I found the speed of the mobile to be super quick, with an average game load time of around 2 seconds. Plus, you get the same range of games on desktop as you do on mobile.
