Union spokeswoman Bethany Khan says it negotiates “one standard” for the contracts, meaning each casino property is coming to nearly identical terms as the next. Should a casino refuse to meet the union on the agreement, Khan says a strike is still possible.<\/p>\n
\nThere are issues that are really important to Culinary Union members,” Khan said this week. “We are focused on contract negotiations \u2026 but if the companies don’t sign then we’ll have to think about next steps.”<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
The outstanding casinos do not necessarily mean they’re not willing to comply to the five-year terms other casinos are.
