Pete Mitchell of Narbeth, Pa. won the record-setting jackpot of $936,996 with a royal flush on Memorial Day weekend.<\/p>\n

The win is the largest progressive jackpot ever at slots or table games at the casino, according to Philadelphia TV station WTXF<\/em>.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Mitchell had wagered $300, according to local news reports.<\/p>\n

Live! Casino is owned and operated by an affiliate of the Cordish Companies.<\/p>\n

A lucky slot machine player won $2,198,173 at the Aria Resort & Casino<\/strong><\/a> in Las Vegas on Friday.<\/p>\n

The mystery winner hit the jackpot on a Wheel of Fortune Gold Spin Triple Gold MegaTower<\/em> slot machine, according to the Las Vegas Review-Journal<\/em>.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Wheel of Fortune slots are made by IGT. The winner had wagered $7, an IGT spokesperson told the Review-Journal<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Grandpa Wins $556K at Chumash Casino Resort<\/h2>\n

An unnamed grandfather hit a $556,120 jackpot on May 25 at the Chumash Casino Resort<\/strong> in Santa Ynez, Calif. The payout was won on a bonus times progressive machine in a high-limit room, the casino announced on Friday.<\/p>\n

The winner regularly plays that machine when he visits the casino, according to the Ventura County Star<\/em> newspaper. He visits the gaming property about once a month.<\/p>\n

The money was won on the man’s second spin during his latest visit. He wagered his money and then three 10s appeared.<\/p>\n

The winner says he will use some of the money to buy a new car for his granddaughter, and that his other two grandchildren will get money for college tuition.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
