Nevada used significantly less Colorado River water in 2022 than the previous year. According to new data from the US Bureau of Reclamation, water use in the Silver State (mostly Las Vegas) dropped 8% from 242,168 acre-feet in 2021 to 222,797 acre-feet in 2022 for \u201cwater years\u201d running from October 1 to September 30.<\/p>\n
