UPDATE: An unidentified man reportedly robbed the Resorts World Las Vegas casino at 2 am on Wednesday. He then fled in a taxi, KLAS<\/em>, a local TV station reported. He apparently handed a note to a cashier demanding cash. It is unclear how much money he stole from the cashier’s cage. No description of the man has been given. Resorts World confirmed the robbery late today, but provided little detail.<\/strong><\/p>\n

EARLIER:<\/strong> Social media sites were abuzz Thursday about a rumor that the high-limit cashier\u2019s cage at Resorts World Las Vegas<\/a> was robbed.<\/p>\n

News of the rumor led to many comments on Vital Vegas<\/em>. Some posters were amazed a robbery could take place at a well-guarded casino. Others found it amusing.<\/p>\n

One poster on Vital Vegas<\/em> revealed, \u201cMy husband was \u2026 working while it happened and didn\u2019t even know it happened until he spoke to one of the cashiers!\u201d<\/p>\n
