UPDATE:<\/strong> Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver Davante Adams has received a citation for assault for pushing a photographer in the aftermath of Monday night’s 30-29 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs,\u00a0 according to Kansas City Municipal Court records. The misdemeanor assault charge was filed in court Wednesday morning.<\/p>\n According to the website of Missouri attorney Jeff Jarrett, the crime of assault in that state is only a misdemeanor if it is fourth-degree assault. That charge is defined as recklessly causing an injury or pain, or causing some kind of physical contract that might be considered offensive. The unidentified man \u2014 who reportedly worked as a freelancer for ESPN’s<\/em> Monday Night Football \u2014 told police he was the victim of an assault and that he was treated for \u201cnon-life threatening injuries\u201d at a hospital.<\/p>\n
