The saga has also caught British soccer team Chelsea FC. The team is owned by Roman Abramovich, a Russian billionaire. The UK has placed sanctions on him, which will damage the club as well.<\/p>\n
Abramovich’s assets are frozen and he cannot transact with UK companies or citizens, according to a government statement. This means he won’t be able to sell the team as he had planned, and it also means that the club cannot sell tickets to its matches.<\/p>\n
