Albany County District Attorney David Soares dropped a misdemeanor criminal charge against Cuomo for the alleged incident in January. Soares said the allegation was “credible,” but prosecutors concluded that proving guilt beyond a reasonable doubt would be difficult at trial.<\/p>\n
