(Image: <em>New York Post<\/em>)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>A fight broke out at about 3 am Tuesday inside Harrah\u2019s Resort Atlantic City.\u00a0The incident was filmed and posted on Twitter. Some 23,000 viewers watched the video as of late Friday.<\/p>\n<p>In the video, security guards were seen standing near the fight monitoring the struggle and later straightening knocked-down furniture<\/p>\n<p>The injuries were not believed to be life-threatening, Atlantic City Police Lt. Kevin Fair told <em>The<\/em> <em>Press of Atlantic City<\/em> on Friday. It was unclear if the injured person was released from the hospital later in the week.<\/p>\n<p><strong>No arrests were made during the melee in an eating area at the gaming property. That is because none of those in the struggle wanted to file a complaint with cops, local police explained to the <em>New York Post<\/em>.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Even so, several participants in the struggle were thrown to the floor and punched. One assailant used a chair to injure another person.<\/p>\n<p>One social media poster, identified as &#8220;Vinny,&#8221; commented, \u201cLooks like a regular day in AC to me.\u201d Another poster, &#8220;Craig Bass,&#8221; added, \u201cRound of applause for those security guards.\u201d And &#8220;Hugh McKillop&#8221; said, \u201cEven the security guys r [sic] like I[\u2019]m not getting in the middle of this. Several hundred mortgage company employees were in the city for an event, the <em>Post<\/em> revealed. But it was unclear later in the week if those in the struggle were connected somehow to the gathering, the<em> Post<\/em> adds.<\/p>\n<p><em>Casino.org<\/em> reached out to Harrah\u2019s and parent company Caesars Entertainment for details and comments on Friday. Company officials did not immediately respond to the request.<\/p>\n<h2>Prior Violent Crime<\/h2>\n<p>Atlantic City is no stranger to crime in and around the casinos. In October, a fatal shooting took place near New Jersey\u2019s famed <a href=\"https:\/\/www.casino.org\/news\/atlantic-city-cops-investigate-murder-close-to-casinos-boardwalk\/\">boardwalk<\/a>. It left a 35-year-old man dead.<\/p>\n<p>The crime scene was close to several gaming properties and hotels. The location was adjacent to a budget motel, cheekily called Hotel Casino. Less than half a mile away are Caesars Atlantic City and the Wild, Wild West Casino.<\/p>\n<p>In May, two New York City men were indicted by a New Jersey grand jury. They allegedly stabbed two males during a mass brawl at the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.casino.org\/news\/two-new-york-city-men-indicted-for-tropicana-ac-stabbings\/\">Tropicana Hotel and Casino<\/a> in Atlantic City in July 2020.<\/p>\n<p>Jabari Cummings, 31, of Brooklyn, and Delroy McNeil, 33, of Queens, have each been charged with aggravated assault, possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, and unlawful possession of a weapon. Cummings is also charged with cocaine possession and tampering with physical evidence.<\/p>\n<p>Both victims survived the attacks.
