People, people, people…so many opinions. I smoke, smoking is not the reason people are getting corona virus, if that’s the case a lot more people would have it, so that sounds stupid. I don’t agree with lock downs, because the government is not and can not support everyone. What’s the solution? I don’t know, all you can do is take it 1 day at a time. Some people pray, but the reality of it all is that people are dying, maybe the World is changing, or maybe they created this virus to kill off a lot of people. To the people that believe in God. Y isn’t your savior saving these lives? I believe in Reality, and the reality of what’s going on is controlled by man, wickedness. To the people that have passed, their the lucky ones, they no longer have to worry or feel any pain or sickness, or be confused, or wonder how their going to survive in a world that’s controlled by man.

Unpopular opinion. As a casino worker. I say we shut down from now until Christmas (it’s slow anyways), once we re-open ban smoking in the casinos. Also, in the casinos, ban eating in the BINGO room (if the casino has it). If Sisolak doesn’t want to shut down the casinos fully, then close the casinos from 10pm to 8am (no mass layoffs), and ban smoking in the casinos, at least until the pandemic subsides or we have a vaccine. Banning smoking and keeping socially distant in the casinos would help, IMO.

So glad some people take wearing a mask seriously. We are the only country that has messed up so big that so many have been lost to this virus. Other countries locked down and wore masks. But because we didn’t have a leader like other countries that have controlled the virus now more and more keep dying on the 3rd surge. Casinos ,Bars, Restaurants, Airports, and basically everything needs to shut down and people need to keep themselves at home.

I’m just recovering from Covid. It’s been hell but I lived to tell and I’m grateful to be alive. It has affected my eyes, My brain and I need oxygen . I cant sleep. I have anxiety and I have never had that before. I have to focus and write down everything so I dont forget. I cant smell and I cant taste.
But dammit I survived. We have to shut everything down to get a grip on this. Stay safe and wear a mask!

Governor Sisolak needs to allow Nevada citizens to manage their own well being. We are adult enough to vote him in (or out) and can make our own decisions as to how to stay well.
It is not government’s role ( nor the dishonest media) to DICTATE to the citizens. Our economy tanking has a much worse impact on all of us than this bug. Science tells us how to manage reducing chances for infection; the majority of the public respects this.

They are worn down under chins and believe because they want to drink and especially smoke that they don’t have to wear them. Casinos are doing a great job sanitizing and handing out masks.

How do I know? I’m a local and I’ve been to a good 15 of them since they re-opened a few months ago. I feel much safer in a Vegas casino than at Walmart, where credit card stations are never wiped down during the day and people are touching items on the shelf constantly.

Smoking in the casinos is a super spreader! Allowing customers to just pull down their mostly dirty mask and blow a cloud of droplets with their smoke is crazy! Slap on a patch or chew gum! Why would Governor Sisolak put the casino industry under further duress when he himself is experiencing nothing more than “mild head congestion?” Can we not weigh the huge consequences of Nevada’s economic disaster with the fact that most people suffer about as mildly as the governor has, myself included. People with preexisting conditions, or the elderly, or others who are vulnerable should stay home. But to make everyone suffer is just ridiculous at this point, especially when a vaccine is almost available.
