A social media influencer with 1.6 million TikTok followers influenced thousands of people to hate him after his latest post. On a visit to the Palms Las Vegas buffet, a man who calls himself “Mister Lewis Lux” harassed staff, wasted food, and made a general asshat out of himself for the sake of some exposure for his social media channels.

In the video, “Mister Lewis” piles two plates so high with whole lobsters, one falls off on his way back to his table.

“Oh well,” he says as he steps over it.

A Palms buffet manager approaches his table and, quite calmly and reasonably, explains that a sign at the buffet specifies only one lobster per plate, and that he must finish all eight he already took before returning for more.

“It doesn’t say you have to eat the plate before you come back, though,” Mister Lewis angrily replies, a statement that neglects to address his transgression.

“The casino who be taking all your money has a problem with me taking some lobster all you can eat?” he says in a voiceover as he films himself dripping butter on his lobsters and then dancing around his table.

Check it out yourself.

“At only $80, this deal is definitely worth it,” his voiceover concludes, “but the way that they treated me made me want to leave immediately.”

The video ends with Mister Lewis depositing at least six of the eight lobsters into a trash can in the kitchen, while two staffers tell him he’s not allowed back there.

“They treated me like trash,” reads a caption overlaying the scene, which ends with a shot of the perfectly good lobsters at the bottom of the trash can.

The video has so far received 45,000 views on YouTube, 21,200 on X/Twitter — 2.3 million more when it was shared there by @LasVegasLocally — and 12,660 Instagram likes.

Rage Eating

The comments were universally negative across all platforms.

“POS no respect for other guests, the staff, or those involved with the production of these goods. Selfish as hell,” commented Instagram user hamelinsghost.

“This got you views, congratulations. You’re still a disgusting person who throws excessive and expensive food away while there are people who are actually hungry,” commented X/Twitter user @pelota_en.

“Disgusting behavior,” echoed YouTube user @chaoticthegod.

Mister Lewis, who apparently is based in Los Angeles, branched out for this stunt — both geographically and in his subject matter. Usually, he orders the most expensive liquor in a bar and then forces bartenders to make a cocktail with it as he humiliates them.

One Reddit user claimed to have quit his job bartending at the Chateau Marmont because of a scene he once created there.

“Yelled drink orders at me from the pool,” the Redditor wrote. “I told him to come to the bar and order. He said, ‘Sweetie I’m new money I can talk to you however I want.’”

The Palms did not reply to Casino.org’s request for a comment.
