So for all you big spenders in Illinois<\/strong> and Nevada<\/strong> it\u2019s on you to fork out the most as you pip the post with the most expensive pint. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In these two states the biggest spend for a pint of Guinness comes in at a thirsty $10<\/strong>! You can\u2019t really put a price tag on a night out in Vegas though, can you?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Meanwhile you lucky folks in Montana<\/strong> can score 3.33 pints for that hefty price as the cheapest pint there will only set you back $3<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Even the most expensive pint in Montana<\/strong> at $5.25<\/strong> is cheaper than the cheapest pints in almost half of all the other states. We know where we\u2019re going for a drink! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you\u2019re in North or South Dakot<\/strong>a it\u2019s worth hopping over the border to shave some dollars off your final bill. The cheapest pints in these states is $6.25 and $6 respectively. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Though watch you don’t get caught out in North Dakota where the most expensive pint is $8<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hawaii<\/strong> might be a dream location for a lot of you but turns out there is<\/em> a price on paradise after all, as their most expensive pints come in close to the ten-dollar mark, only 50 cents short. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

But on the positive side, their cheapest pint comes in at less than half that, a friendly $4.50<\/strong>. So choose your bars wisely, people!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

California<\/strong> is well known for its chilled vibes and sunshine and the average pint there will cost you $7.61<\/strong> which is 5 cents cheaper than in Washington<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We know where we\u2019d rather be celebrating St Paddy\u2019s! Hint: it\u2019ll save you a bit of dollar too.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The top three most expensive places for a pint come out as Nevada<\/strong>, Colorado<\/strong> and New Jersey\/Washington<\/strong> where prices average between $7.67-8<\/strong> a pop.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The three cheapest states to drink Guinness in are Montana<\/strong>, Oregon<\/strong> and Maine<\/strong> with all pints averaging under $5.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In Maryland<\/strong>, Louisiana<\/strong>, Wisconsin<\/strong>, Virginia<\/strong>, Nevada<\/strong>, Oregon<\/strong> and Maine<\/strong> the difference between the cheapest pint is half or less than half what you\u2019ll pay for the most expensive, so it really pays to find the best bar when you\u2019re in these states. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Obviously with Nevada<\/strong> being the home of Las Vegas there\u2019s no surprises to find such huge differences in pricing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Whereas in states like New Jersey<\/strong>, Rhode Island<\/strong>, Connecticut<\/strong>, Minnesota<\/strong>, Alaska<\/strong>, Kentucky<\/strong>, Utah<\/strong>, South Dakota<\/strong>, Tennessee<\/strong>, Missouri<\/strong> and New Mexico <\/strong>the difference is no more than $1.50.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nebraska<\/strong>, the most middle state of the USA ranks quite high in the pricing where an average pint there will cost you $7.07<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

But fear not, Iowa<\/strong>, just next door, will serve up some Guinness around the $5.83<\/strong> mark.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So there you have it, a handy guide for the pints and prices across the United States of America. Fasten your bootstraps and warm up your voices for a night of singing and dancing (depending on your state’s restrictions).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
