Astrology meets Vegas: Celebrity astrologist shares Star sign behavior in Vegas?
Luck be the Libra tonight! Even an astrology novice knows that no two star signs treat traveling the same. As the stereotypes go, Virgos overplan the whole trip, Leos capture every moment on Instagram, and, well, Pisces are just going with the flow.
How do the zodiac signs stack up when it comes to testing their luck in Vegas? We spoke with celebrity astrologer and psychic, Inbaal Honigman, to unpack how each zodiac sign acts on a trip to Sin City.
Aries (March 21 – April 19)
With Aries being a fire sign, personified by confidence and gusto, we asked Inbaal to share her thoughts on the first zodiac sign of the 12 in astrology:
“Aries likes to be outdoors and keep active whenever they can. So naturally, their favorite part of Vegas is actually all the things outside of Vegas. You’ll find Aries striding uphill in the Valley of Fire State Park on a brisk hike. Those born under the sign of the Ram make their own schedule, so they suit the 24-hour nature of Las Vegas, opting for an outdoors excursion that’s bound to start at the crack of dawn.”
Taurus (April 20 – May 20)
Inbaal continues to the second sign of the zodiac wheel, sharing her thoughts on the dependable bull sign.
“Taurus, out of all three Earth signs, really appreciates the good life and loves only the best that each city has to offer. With so many world-class hotels in one zip code, Vegas offers a lovely holiday for introverted travelers, like Tauruses.
Let Taurus enjoy Vegas in their special, low-key way, by curling up with a great book and a room-service cup of cocoa at the Bellagio, while the stunning view changes from day to night.
Those born under the sign of the Bull want to savor every moment, just living their best lives with their favorite person in the comfort of their hotel suite.”
Gemini (May 21 – June 20)
As far as clichés go, Geminis aren’t known as the most likable sign, but Vegas is where they shine! Inbaal tells us about Geminis in Vegas by saying,
“Gemini is an air sign that loves socializing above all else. With or without alcohol, daytime or night, smart or casual, the party never stops. For this reason, the specific details of their time in Sin City are unclear or unknown. Good luck trying to track down a Gemini once the party gets going.
The Hangover could be considered an ode to this Zodiac sign. Photographic evidence of their wild evenings is the only way for Geminis to piece together their lost weekend in Las Vegas. Those born under the sign of the Twins won’t remember much of their time in the desert, but they’ll know that they loved it.”
Cancer (June 21 – July 22)
Don’t go crying over spilled $30 Caesars Palace cocktails, Cancer! Inbaal finds the bright side of Vegas for Cancer signs by sharing –
“Cancer is a water sign that appreciates spending quiet times together, checking out beautiful sites. Vegas might not be their first pick, but there’s plenty for them to love!
The Bellagio Fountain Show ticks all their boxes, as they’ll stand peacefully, holding hands with their partner, admiring the sights. As true poets, they enjoy the droplets of water, against the majestic backdrop, in the heart of the desert. They might even shed a tear at the thought.”
Leo (July 23 – August 22)
What about the sweet summer children? August babies should have a grand time in the city of the sun, right?
“Leo is a fire sign that loves nothing more than to win. Any opportunity to hear the jingle of the slots is a great joy for Leo.
This quick-thinking fire sign doesn’t like to waste time, either, so they’ll start aiming for that jackpot the moment they’ve landed and can get to the airport terminal’s slot machines.
Leo is an all-or-nothing sign, so if they’re in the Gambling Capital of the US, let’s just say, they’re going to go for it wherever they can. 7 am in arrivals? Midnight in the departure lounge? A wins a win. Lucky and bright, those born under the sign of the Lion will delight at the very Vegas pastime of gambling at the airport.”
Virgo (August 23 – September 22)
Virgos are known for their stickler nature, but it doesn’t mean they can’t let loose every once in a while to try their hand at luck. Inbaal spills on what a Virgo is like in Vegas:
“Virgo, in all its earth-sign practicality, likes real-life successes. They’re confident that they can beat the system, and that the house doesn’t always win. They’ve got a knack for perfection, so they’re sure to try to gain the system, but not at the slots.
They’ll have a strict budget to enjoy some table games, but their true profit margin comes from having fun with all the goodies that the city has to offer.
After strategically weighing out the best options, Virgo will eat at the buffet every day.
Those born under the sign of the Virgin are sensible and organized. A regular, everyday win such as an all-you-can-eat with a set price, is Virgo’s idea of winning.”
Better yet? An all-you-can-eat buffet at the Hoover Dam so they can be efficient with their vacationing…it’s just the Virgo way!
Libra (September 23 – October 22)
Is balance the true nature of Libra once they hit Vegas? Inbaal lets us know what to expect of our lovely Libra friends when they land in Sin City.
“Libra is the epitome of an air sign. Known for being elegant, graceful, and friendly, their favorite experiences must center around peace and relaxation.
The nightlife of the neon jungle of Las Vegas might be a bit much for the sensitive Libra, so a romantic Gondola Ride at the Venetian is a perfect way for them to escape the hustle and bustle.
Librans like to observe life from a different perspective – seeing the city from the water is sure to grab their attention far more than the lights and action of The Strip. Those born under the sign of the Scales take delight in listening to music, too, so being serenaded by a gondolier is high on their Vegas bucket list.”
Scorpio (October 23 – November 21)
Is a Scorpio sure to sting in Sin City? Characterized as extreme and independent, we asked Inbaal what kind of force we’re reckoning with when taking a Scorpio on a Vegas trip.
“Sometimes misidentified as a fire sign for its enigma, Scorpios are that of water. They love living life on the edge. Their signature style is intense with a hint of sexy – a fun, but dangerous combo for Vegas.
Like other water signs, Scorpio loves being near or in water, and they love getting together with people who also love water activities.
Leaning into their watery side, you can catch a Scorpio at the Wet Republic pool party. Their ideal situation is a scandalous suit, surrounded by dozens of other ‘you only live once’ style partiers under the hot Nevada sun. Those born under the sign of the Scorpion wear their sexiness on their sleeve, so expect them to pressure (or push) you into the pool with them.”
Sagittarius (November 22 – December 21)
A Sag on any trip is bound to be a good time. Inbaal shares what Vegas with this feisty fire sign is like.
“Sagittarius is a fire sign that adores adventure, pushing boundaries, and taking risks – so, essentially Vegas.
Their fearlessness will cause them to not want to miss a thing, so an adrenaline ride of three minutes fits seamlessly into their itinerary. Those born under the sign of the Archer like to be surrounded by thrill. The Big Apple Coaster at New York New York will certainly feed into their adventure-seeking nature.”
Capricorn (December 22 – January 19)
Do the Sea Goats of the zodiac have as grand of a time as Scorpios? Inbaal lets us know what to expect from Capricorns on their Vegas adventures.
“Capricorns may be an earth sign, but they have a real lust for luxury. The opulence of Vegas as a whole delights them.
Nowhere more so, than at Caesars Palace Casino, where every location shows grandeur, and every selfie screams splendor. Focused and ambitious, Capricorn likes to try and win when they gamble. Even if they don’t walk away with the jackpot, they’ll stick to a budget and make a game plan.
The make-believe world of richness at the Caesar’s Palace Casino is perfect for those born under the sign of the Sea-goat, as they act out their lavish fantasies for a day and gamble away just the perfect amount of cash.”
Aquarius (January 20 – February 18)
Is an Aquarius set to have a fun time on the Strip or do they prefer the quiet luxury of their hotel room? Inbaal lets us into the vacationing world of Aquarians.
“Aquarius is an air sign that appreciates uniqueness. If they’re in the entertainment capital of the world, its only natural that they look for phenomenal performances.
The mesmerizing artistry of a Kà by Cirque du Soleil show, makes the Aquarian feel like they’re having a once-in-a-lifetime experience, and they love it. Aquarians are into otherworldly sights and experiences and prefer the extraordinary to the ordinary.
Those born under the sign of the Water-bearer love the theatrical, breath-taking approach of the Cirque du Soleil.”
Pisces (February 19 – March 20)
Last but not least: Pisces! How does this flowy zodiac sign plan to spend its time in Vegas according to Inbaal?
“Pisces is the water sign that enjoys love in all its forms. You can guess where this is heading.
Since they’re so naturally romantic, they’ll make a point to visit the Little White Wedding Chapel, just to be in the presence of all those historic celebrity vows. Pisces lets their heart run the show, so they can’t resist the lure of the nuptials. Those born under the sign of the Fish love to be in love, and are unlikely to leave Vegas single.”
And in case you’re wondering…it’s probably a Gemini standing next to them at the end of the aisle.
